 In lieu of closing for 2.5 months in the summer, LBMS takes two week breaks twice a year, as is typical of year-round schools. Our breaks mainly align with the traditional school year calendar:

• Federal holidays
• Thanksgiving (1 week)
• Winter break (2 weeks)
• Spring break (2 weeks)
• Conference days (2 days)
• Staff professional development (2 days)

We recognize the scheduling and financial difficulty that can arise from these breaks; however, they are necessary to provide a work life balance for our guides and students. LBMS has helped with this by partnering with EPSA (https://epsportsacademy.com) who offer a variety of camps during these breaks.
