The Little Blue Montessori School is a year-round school community that serves families with children aged 18 months to 6 years of age year-round.
Our comprehensive Montessori curriculum is designed to meet the unique needs and interests of each child, promoting intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development.

Our Toddler Community offers care for children who are aged 18 mos. to 3 years of age and who are confident walkers by their start date. Toilet learning is a part of this program and will not be a requirement prior to enrollment. This community will be led by a full-time Lead Guide and full-time Assistant Guide and is hosted between the hours of 8:30 am and 12:00 pm. Children older than 20 months should join the waitlist for our Primary Community
Our Primary Community consists of children aged 3 to 6 years of age, who are independently toileting by their start date (this includes dressing/undressing).
Half Day, 8:30 am - 12 pm - 3 - 4.5 years old
Full Day, 8:30 am - 3 pm - 3 to 6 years old
After Care is offered for both Toddler and Primary students
* Toddlers and Half Day Primary children will be invited to nap according to their needs during this time.
** This will be a time of outdoor play, open-ended play with toys, arts and crafts, and songs and music enjoyment. An afternoon snack will be offered.
We offer families Drop-in After Care options for children who need extended care and is available for both Toddler and Primary students
We ask that parents try and give us 24 hours notice for Drop-in After Care
* Toddlers and Half Day Primary children will be invited to nap according to their needs during this time.
** This will be a time of outdoor play, open-ended play with toys, arts and crafts, and songs and music enjoyment. An afternoon snack will be offered.
I offer a harmonious mix of music services: afterschool creativity jams, in-school music circles, personalized at-home lessons, toe-tapping Music Together® sessions, and festive party tunes for kids' celebrations.

Melissa Akers is a parent consultant based in the Austin area. With eight years of experience as a Montessori teacher, she developed a passion for providing more in-depth support to families beyond the classroom setting.
Drawing on her knowledge of the Montessori method and her personal experience working with children in her own home, Melissa has seen positive results within her family. This success inspired her to share her skills with others in a non-judgmental environment. Natalie Rodriguez is a licensed and certified bilingual speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience working with children. She specializes in language, speech and feeding development and stuttering therapy.
Natalie obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics at the University of Florida (Go Gators!). She later attended the University of South Florida where she obtained her post baccalaureate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. During her time at the University of South Florida, Natalie created and directed a summer camp program for children with autism. She also organized a charity event to fund therapy sessions for low income families. Natalie obtained her Masters of Science degree in Communication and Sciences Disorder at Eastern Illinois University.
Natalie provides therapy in the child's preferred environment. She believes all children are capable of growth when provided with a loving and supportive environment. Natalie enjoys empowering families with knowledge regarding their child's diagnosis and strategies to help improve their skills outside of therapy sessions.
As an Easton Park resident, Natalie takes pride in her community. She enjoys camping, running, biking and hiking with her family at nearby parks.
